Re: 100a v4

Tim, thanks for this update..! It sounds amazingly good. Does magical things to transients. Adds a little welcome density. I take it the programs with LED in the title are for use with a particular skin?. I make my own custom Neb instances and that's the only thing that wasn't explained on your site.

Re: Vari Level released!!

As far as I know the original RS124 only resides in Abbey road, so unless your willing to hire out Abbey Road studio for the duration of sampling, which they'd probably oppose anyway, you're probably going to have to settle for Chandlers clone, which is about a £2.5k compressor. I'm not sure if ther...

Re: 37J classic valve tape machine released!

Bought this today and just chiming in to say it's great! Really can change low end (I'm guessing what would be called bloom) and transients in a really pleasing way that seems to improve everything it touches. More depth and sustain. It softens the highs but not in a I need to grab some eq way that ...

Re: 33% off Tim P selected comps and news!!

Sum100 is a killer, and I've got the U76, which is nice also. This is too tempting  Also I applaud the continuing quest to improve and refine the products and TIm seems to be pushing the boundaries of Nebula compression with his wizardry  It sounds by your teaser that you are thinking ...

Re: CDS releases the ACC Classic American Console !!!

I've been playing with the demo for a while and it's really one of my favourite Console/Preamp programs to date. It's really hard to tell exactly why, but I just like it whenever I fling it on something. It just sounds better to me. I think it could be the way it 'soaks' the bass up a bit and gives ...

Re: T tape Released!!!

Hi Tim, Thanks for the explanation. I got your U76 comp today as well, and I'm fast relapsing into my old Nebula ways. I can only run a few instances but it's so enjoyable what U76 and T tape can do to audio, and also your free cassette tape. Lots of flavours and character. Keep on with those Hi-gai...

Re: T tape Released!!!

Haven't used Nebula for a long time, long story but after my main computer died I've not been able to upgrade, so my 2008 macbook just can't quite cut the mustard. But I'm making a drum library so I thought I'd try out some programs, it can at least handle some preamp programs, and I was pretty impr...

Program 0 not valid..

Just been setting up my Mac and thought I'd setup Nebula. Having been on PC before and familiar with the process, even if it was a long time ago, I am stumped. When loading the plugin it gives a 'Program 0 not valid' and creates no .ser file. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or can't remember what ...

Re: Kemper profiling amp

I been following this on gearslutz and some of the user profiles I've heard have been completely convincing to my ear. The thing comes loaded with about 200 presets and there is an ever growing amount of user profiles. The capturing process seems quite simple, just a test tone and then some refining...

Re: What about a Nebula Free-G like tool? (With a good Mono Pan)

If you can hear it consistently your probably right and not crazy. i wonder if it effects transients, i don't use the fader on it but when i take it off mids 2-5k sort of range seem to poke out more. Perhaps the method of analysis in the plugin causes this I don't know?. Anyway such a plugin you des...
