Re: waves j37 WTF????

Those people have the impression that they own big Studio gears, remove the GUI from those plugins and I'm sure they would not sell 50% of what they sell. You hit the nail right on the head. Its elementary: pretty gui + good marketing + respected engineers endorsements = profit. Don't get to...

Re: Tokyo Dawn Labs - Feedback Compressor II - WOW!!

I agree the thread went sideways. Any how, I've tried this compressor too and I have abused it with deep compression and the signal still remains useable. Is it just but this compressor is very interesting.

Re: Getting that 'vintage' 60's/70's sound with Nebula...

Get LFX-1310 I use this with nebula to get really nice warmth with the distortion, amp, and overdrive programs. It really thickens things up,especially when you want to get rid of that high fizzy frequencies. And the good thing is now reverb sends wont sound so if I may, digital. get it here its fre...

Re: How do you use your Nebula Reverbs with correct track te

I employ a similar technique. I sometimes put the delay after and I add slight chorus before the reverb too. The great thing about audio is that there are no rules with one exception, if it sounds right its right. Another thing I do is use the regular nebula program with the real room reverb preset ...

Rugu Nation - XMPLAY asio4all support recommended

I read an article a while back about mixes sounding quite different after bouncing. I experienced this in my early ventures of audio production but since then I have no such issue. My solution was XMPLAY with asio support. The reason your mix sounded different was because of the windows default soun...

Re: Cupwise release- YouRei Notch/BP/Peak filter set with LF

Tim, I am having an issue with the bandpass/peak program when creating custom setups with Nebula Setup. After doing so the BP/Peak preset completely disappears for some reason. I have tried both 44 and 96 versions and the same thing happens. But they are readable with the original nebula program. Ju...

Re: Compression: not impressed at all, EQ: impressed

Oh I see that's pretty cool. Again I love the sound as it takes away the harsh mid range stuff that drives my ear insane. When I mix with FJ on the 2 I can listen for hours and hours without that fatiguing feeling. Since I do a lot of stuff on headphones I need to listen for extended periods.

Re: Compression: not impressed at all, EQ: impressed

Hello everyone ! I recently used the FruitJoy Comp 2 on the masterbus and I was quite impressed ! It really gives a big warm boost to the low-ends and soften in a very nice way the harsh high-ends frequencies. I am interested in knowing other experiences from people using this compressor. I also wo...
