Re: Blues/Rock and Acqua

Gold, Navy, or maybe Amethyst (personally, I use Navy almost all the time) are pretty much a given for basic tracking/mixing. Ebony should also be mentioned because it comes with a reverb and a good mastering/buss compressor too, so you can easily use it all over the mix. For the 2nd, you may want t...

Re: Plugin Suggestions

I'm going to repeat a couple things. MIXING: Purple, Sand, Pink, and Navy ( it's old, like Core 7 old, but I personally like the pres and EQ better than Gold and Lime in most applications ) MASTERING: Coral ( it's a beast in Mid/Side ), Cobalt ( the pre always seems to make masters sound better ), D...

Re: Flex, a r&b single mixed with Nebula 3

Not my genre of choice, but very well done! Great use of texture in the mix. Only one critique, if you have TimP's Shape Modifier (or some other transient modifier), it would take the drums to another level! They already sound great though, so that's just a nitpick/personal preference. Good stuff 5t...

Re: N4 Player does not load programs

No problem loopdude! Sorry, but a couple more quick questions... Can you further describe what exactly happens when you attempt to load EAR? Does it crash, freeze, something else? Also, do you have both N4 Free and N4 Player installed currently? If so, I'd uninstall both and reinstall only one of th...

Re: N4 Player does not load programs

Have you authorized EAR through AITB and placed the AUT files in the correct folder? Assuming you did the whole "Run DAW as Administrator, open EAR to create SER file, authorize...." or equivilent steps. Just double checking ;)

Re: Sidechains still don't work

Pink 2412 has two modes (internal/external) I think also crimson, possibly ivory The other ones, just external one Check the user manuals, it should be described accurately For the record, the Aquamarine manual still states that the Sidechain switch engages an internal 90hz filter. It hasn't been t...

Re: Shape modifier released with Introductory offer!

Finally tried this out last night. Thank you for replacing my old algo plugin that is now rendered completely unsatisfactory. It's retired now  Shape Modifier will be a staple on kicks and snares for the foreseeable future.

I think Aquamarine has Built-in sidechain filters.
It used to. I don't know when or why Acustica changed it, but I prefered it with the internal sidechain over external. Just my 2 cents

Re: Acustica is pleased to release PINK2 suite, the dawn of CORE12!

EQ 3 for the low and low-mid band's HZ display is slightly off from the other 2 EQs :ugeek: Now that I look at it, lots of the knobs HZ diplays aren't centered the same when switching EQs. For the record, I couldn't possibly care less because I have permanently damaged eyes anyway... my ears have th...

Re: Aquarius - new download tool

After installing Pink2 on one of my PCs, Aquarius crashes while 'getting data from server.' I tried uninstalling/reinstalling Aquarius to no avail. It's probably user error on my side. My other PC that I installed Pink2 onto yesterday has had no issues. I'm about to open a ticket, just wanted to see...
