Re: AlexB: 9K Series (it replaces older Modern Logic)

Do you REALLY use ALL bands in every track ???!!!

It isn't the same eQ. Different console and every channel has a different fingerprint.
Sorry, I can't do nothing at the moment.

Re: AlexB: 9K Series (it replaces older Modern Logic)

It's not a bug but the hardware sampled. You not need to stack all bands, use only what you need to use.

Thanks

Re: >> AlexB - Filtek BP1 HP LP Filter : new life for Reverb/Delay and Mastering tricks <<

.... Ok I understand now. When the HPF is set "flat" its actually not flat, its a 18Hz 6dB/oct filter. :geek: You are right but what I mean is: Control is flat, the sampled units was flat. The 18Hz 6dB/oct is NATURAL Roll-Off (HPF) by the transformers and not and internal setup. Every component has...

Hi Alex. You said the below "cut at 18Hz @ 6dBoct. But the HPF doesn't have 18Hz nor 6dB slope....?? Am I missing something? :geek: But real Magic happens when you use it in the M/S technique by use it flat for the mid - it just cut at 18Hz with natural 6dB slope - and at taste on the side: your mi...

http://www.spheremusic.com/Bargaindtl.asp?Item=11589 Close but not exact. the one in the link doesn't have the 1k band. The units sampled are showed in the pic on the 1st post. It is the 1st release of this equalizer and it is VERY RARE to find it, only a few units has been built (hand-built). If y...

Re: AlexB: 9K Series (it replaces older Modern Logic)

Guys , the 9kc panner 44 seems to have more than 4.5 db pan law as it is written in the manual. 96 preset works fine. CONFIRMED. The 9k Panner Preset drops output level -7 dB. [44.1k] Checking most other console panners look correct. Waiting to hear from AlexB. 44.1kHz Panner FIXED ! Thanks 8-)

Alex, why don't you provide a service to mod products like you named, to sound better? For example, the UAD Apollo. I do it ! Every hardware can be improved in audio performance. All my libraries come from refurbished and upgraded units. Please visit the Facebook page and the website: http://www.al...

Re: MFC vs. Lime

The precision, the correlated stereo, the deep and fat sound with something as ambience-atmosphere comes from the console and it's captured thanks at my custom built converters and my skills in sampling technique. No converters on the market can achieve even a percentage in performance of mine. Sor...
