Re: Cooltec EQP1 Released

Really nice!

Just a question: could we load the suite in "one click" and use/bypass the single standalone plugin to taste or we have to load manually each single standalone plugin? Could we control each plugin of the suite from a unique GUI?

Thanks,
Vernon

Re: how to set up nebula server lan on mac

Hi, I'm using a "PC to MAC" server setup that (for me) works well. The master is an I7 950 with Win 7, the slave (server) is a MAC Mini with OS X Server. I use Reaper and the Nebula versions are: - 1.3.504 on the master - 1.3.502 on the slave (MAC) (I've got problems with 1.3.504 so I reverted to 1....

Re: (nth) attempt to control more Nebula eq bands

1) Will your approach also be possible regarding compressors, using Bidule, Reaper and the free MCompresor (Melda)? Mmmmmmh, at a first look it's not so simple to implement... Attack and release on the Mcompressor are scaled in different granularities: .001 steps from 0 to 0.1ms; .01 steps from 0.1...

Re: (nth) attempt to control more Nebula eq bands

Hi, thanks for this task, it´s something me and a lot of people are so interested. Anyway, i have to ask you if we must have bidule for being able to use this. Or bidule is not needed for us to have? Hi babiuk, for this task Bidule works as an "intelligent frequency calculator" because we have to r...

(nth) attempt to control more Nebula eq bands

Dear Nebula guys, I'm very happy to share with you my last workaround to manage different EQ bands in one plugin. The work has been done with the Plogue Bidule plugin and the Melda Mequalizer interface. I made a video because of the large amount of information and in order to be more clear: Video Fo...

Hi there, Oh and I just added another product - a Ribbon Microphone - kinda fun warm thingy Henry Olonga releases Roiher Ribbon R-One2One Microphone . Re: AlexB - Preamp Colors & Saturation

Hi Richie and thanks for the reply!

I only would be sure of the same result, in fact Alexb manual says: "With the SAT control you can change the real saturation by driving the input stage
+/- 12dB without changing the output level.".

Preamp Colors & Saturation + GDRIVE

Hi,

I've tried to patch the PC&S libraries with the preamp GDRIVE patch but the GDRIVE control overwrite the Saturation one...
Is there a simple way to have both without manually editing the individual library's controls?

Thanks, Vernon

Re: Divide the Nebula Servers

I'm using server because my project loading time is way too long. (15~25minutes under 48kHz)Preload of instance and SRC conversions. So I hope to fast the workflow without wait for nebula s to load. 15-20 minutes is really strange...I work with an I7 on [email protected] and the max loading time for a ~50...

Re: gain staging using neb in reaper

I want to set my system up calibrated @ -18db using nebula in reaper, can someone tell me how to go about that or maybe point to a good guide. In Reaper you could use the SWS function "SWS: Normalize item(s) to peak RMS", the level could be set through the function "SWS: Set RMS analysis/normalize ...

Re: New User - 44khz vs 96khz?!

Maybe that's why I can only run ~8 instances on my pretty fast computer ?? Mmmmmmh, sounds strange... With my I7, Win7 64 bit and [email protected].1khz I can manage from 30 to 40 instances, so I suggest to check your configuration in the MAST page. Try with high DSPBUFFER values, both in Nebula and in the...

Re: New User - 44khz vs 96khz?!

Resampling from 96k to 48k is faster than 96k to 44.1k.
So probably 48k could be a good compromise to work with 96k libraries...
