Issues with N4 Player

Hello, After having an extended break from music, I got back and I've upgraded Nebula 4 Free to N4 Player to check what's new in Nebula's world. To be honest, I really regret that since I found out that I can no longer test any 3rd party demo libraries on it. I was very curious to check some demos o...

Re: Revox A77 with 5 programs

It seems like the programs aren't working on Nebula3 Free or I'm wrong?

Re: Gain reduction monitoring in Nebula 3

Can we expect accurate gain reduction meters in Nebula4?
VU meters would be great.

Re: AlexB - Neev Collection Released ! N14 N73 N64 N54

Controls are continuous I'm referring to AlexB User Manual. Hi Shuriken, I think you may be unaware that some devs like to provide a continuous control in their library, because Nebula offers this possibility, even though the sampled hardware controls are stepped. Acqua plugz do this as well. The p...

Re: AlexB - Neev Collection Released ! N14 N73 N64 N54

Controls are continuous, please read the user manual . I've read the manual and I re-read it again. Everything is clearly written, but what confuses me is that I thought on the original unit there are four compressor recovery presets provided (400mS, 800mS, 1500mS and AUTO) and that the controls ar...

Gain reduction monitoring in Nebula 3

Hello,

I was wondering how other users are monitoring the gain reduction when using compressors in Nebula 3?
I just can't set Nebula's gain reduction meters properly and often it's seems like they are not pretty accurate. It would be great if we could monitor the gain reduction with a VU meter.

Re: AlexB - Neev Collection Released ! N14 N73 N64 N54

Hello, I was evaluating the N54 library and I noticed that the "release" time in this library goes from 400mS to 1500mS and you can set it to any number between those parameters. As opposed to the original unit which only "clicks" at 400mS, 800mS and 1500mS. How the compressor behaves in those numbe...

Re: Free Prime Studio "CHARLY" plug

There is no authorization needed, even though the manual describes going through the process. This is a free offering that does not need to do anything with the SER file. I'm using the Windows AAX 64-bit version and all I had to do was go through the installation process and it was available for us...

Re: Free Prime Studio "CHARLY" plug

First of all, I want to thank the developers for sharing this plug-in with us. I've run into some problems installing this plug-in. I couldn't find the .SER file in my installation folder, so I decided to reinstall the plug-in. When I try to uninstall CHARLY, the window that opens is for uninstallin...

I already use Nebula 3 Reverb, so I guess there's nothing else to do.

Thanks for your reply, Giancarlo.

Re: Low-pass filters in Nebula 3

I'll try to be more specific this time.
Let's take "Mooged lowpass" filter for example. I'm trying to make the filter slope steeper. Is there a way to do that through some changes in the parameters settings or something like that?

Re: AlexB: Chandly Ltd Germanium

I've noticed some strange behavior in Nebula3 Free (1.3.903 version) with the newer compressor libraries by AlexB. Apparently, even when the threshold is set to 0 dB, the Nebula meters still register a gain reduction of -0,5 to -1,5 dB, sometimes even higher, but there's no compression occurring. An...

Low-pass filters in Nebula 3

Hello, As the title states, I have question about the low-pass filters in Nebula 3. What I've noticed is that when I use 4-pole or even 6-pole low-pass filters there are lots of mid to high frequencies left behind, even with low cutoff frequencies, like 150-200Hz. I'm not used to that kind of behavi...

Re: AlexB - Valve Tech Dynamics (upgrade from old OTD)

Hey Shuriken, have you had success with adjusting those parameters? I am asking because I kind of find myself in the same situation. Feeling as if moving the volume fader myself was a picture that I had as well, so I am interested if you have any news to share. Hello, hifi3000 I've set the paramete...

Re: AlexB - Valve Tech Dynamics (upgrade from old OTD)

Hi Shuriken I don't know if you saw this in the Alexb manual but it might solve the problem. 2.1 - Parameter Settings Some parameters must to be set into Nebula's MAST Page for better performance and Nebula experience: 1 – set the Mode from SIMPLE to GURU 2 – set the AHEAD to 6ms 3 – set the RATE C...
