Re: EMT 250 ?

I really like the VXNT reverbs, they're my favorite ones by far...

I just wished he did Nebula libraries more often!

I'm sure if you link the two sliders to a midi controller, you could do a lot better than me.
WOW! That's what I wanted to listen. Sounds really smooth, actually... More than I was expecting!

How it reacts with less radical tweakings?

Re: AlexB - Vintage Sinth Filters

Try the Demo. Demo is stepped, commercial library is continuous variable control. The sound of both version is the same. I'll give a try to the demo, that's for sure! I've never was disappointed with your libraries, Alessandro... Anyway, if the demo is stepped I think it's not going to be useful fo...

Re: AlexB - Vintage Sinth Filters

Looks pretty amazing.

Anyway, I would like to listen some examples first. One of my dreams is to have a Nebula smooth filter, not just with fixed parameters but with the possibility of automation in my DAW. I don't know if this library is a milestone or if Nebula can't do smooth filterings (yet).

Re: AlexB - FENIX : Mix & Master Vari-MU compressors

Looks like a really nice addition to signaltonize's DME1968! I'll check the demo tomorrow, but thinking about the price of the original unit I think I'll bought it anyway 8-) EDIT: I just checked it before going to sleep. One of the most transparent compressors I heard ever. I'll have to check the o...

I'll be glad to give a donation to Michael for the Bricasti. Really exciting. Hope true stereo is coming soon, btw :-)

Re: Christmas greetings.

Merry Christmas from Spain!

Actually, my Christmas are not being the best ones (just separated from my wife), and 2011 wasn't the most amazing year, to say the least. But hey, I try to be positive :-)

Just hoping that everybody here enjoy 2012.

Re: Workflow question for more realtime mixing

Reaper is soooooooooo much better with Nebula. Man, please don't say that!! :-) Now seriously, I'm kind of annoyed about how Samplitude deals with Nebula, so I think I'll have to learn the Reaper basics... Learning another DAW is one thing I don't want to (I'm getting old!), but everyone is talking...

Re: Cupwise release- Cassette Deck 2

ah! yes the tascam is a pretty cool deck. i like the pitch variation knob- you can get some intense effects twiddling that while playing/recording. using feedback through your d/a a/d loop while doing that, you get a flange-like effect that's pretty huge. this whole track of mine: http://cupwise.co...

Re: Cupwise release- Cassette Deck 2

I was one of those Cassette Deck 1 big fans! Actually, I was so fan that I bought a Tascam 122mkIII last week. Now I'm in love with cassette dynamics, but also with the wow & flutter, the crazy tape crosstalk and all that strange artifacts that made a mix freakier :-) Even though I have a real casse...

Re: Considering My Son Max

I really like My Son Max, but always keeping it really smooth (like 2 dB on bass frequency and 1 dB in highs, sometimes even less). It's not working on everything (I use it on the master channel, but not on every project, specially if I want a really natural sound), but in the synth buss it does mir...

Perfect. Just installed and I'm going to compare with my other console libraries (I only have Globe and Vintage Blue Console, but it will be nice to see differences and some other flavours).

You simply rock, man!

Whoa! So sweet! I'll check tomorrow, looks promising.

Btw, which console is? I think I don't get that LineAudio Preamp thing... Have you made a console from a LineAudio preamp?

Re: Realistic usage of Server thru ethernet

If money were not an issue ( and of course it is) Have you guys thought of comissioning someone to make a DSP card just for running Nebula? That's the same thing I asked to Enrique a couple of years ago. Acustica Audio don't like this idea, but I think it would be kick-ass. At the beginning, I was ...

Re: AlexB - Vinylizer PRO

How does it compare to Sonitex STX-1260? Totally diferent thing. I really like Sonitex (and I don't like that is not released at 64 bits yet. This is sampling the dynamic range of the vinyl players, but you can get some nice filters. The old vinyl player is one of the best hipass filters I tried ev...
