Re: NVC - the Nebula Virtual Controller Website is On Line

This is sooooo awesome!!!! If you know Nebula and how heavy it can be, a complete set of stereo Eq like the Mamooth does eat a substantial part of the computer's cpu. It must be the most perfect way to have a look at the settings when used for bus eq or for mastering, where you want the somu...

Re: Bricasti M7

Yeah, I also agree, I can wait, especialy if I know you are trying to make it as good as possible, and if that is 95%, that would be amazing! The best technical achievements take a lot of efforts and time, of course! In the meantime, every time in go on the forum, I'll have a look on this thread to ...

Re: Looking for a library of real sampled rooms

Hi, The room hunters are special verbs: It is more room spaces and sounds than a room reverb. It is usefull to enlarge the spaces in a realistic way. It is a kind of "dry" reverb that is amazing and has no comparison in any other reverbs I ever used. I would recommend it. When it is well chosen and ...

Re: Bricasti M7

yeah mitch, i've experienced weird results sampling reverbs where i'm using an analog connection also. the units i sampled weren't high end, but i would get these really weird artifacts in the tails. i spent a lot of time trying to figure out what exactly caused those, to no avail. i guess as you s...

Re: Bricasti M7

Digital audio IS actually an audio signal as well as analog audio. The reverb works internaly in digital, so it has to convert the incoming signal if it is analog. AND what goes out of NAT when sampling is a digital signal (everything inside a computer is digital). Even if the machine is high end an...

Re: Bricasti M7

I agree AA could host the files because this would be a great promotion for them: it would be more easy for all those who aren't aware of how torrents work. And torrents do have a pirat image... Then I think 96 khz as a native resolution would be cool and futur proof. But if it was possible to have ...

Re: Cupwise release: Rayphlex 661x2 A stereo compressors

To me it is a huge step for compressors in Nebula. It compares in quality to the very good eq programms of the other dev's. Because: -it works very well at all settings = comparable to algo comps -it brings something new to the algo comps users: it keeps a clarity and a tone in the sound (= analog c...

Re: Cupwise release: Rayphlex 661x2 A stereo compressors

Really amazing!

I would say it is more difficult to use as it has so much different behaviours available!

The behaviour of the transients is so good!

Thanks!

Re: Nebula Compressors

Thank you so much Rich for the DC-1 link, it's a very good one. The other day I found out the Platinium ears plugins: several free compressor plugs. The Q4 is really very good: a Q compressor which allows to compress the transients that you need (the more agressive sounds, highs, mediums or lows). T...

Re: How many Nebula plugins can be instantiated?

One other thing that helps fastening the Nebula programms loading time is having an SSD Hard drive for the system, and put your programms/vectors there, or have a second SSD hard drive for your programms/verctors... SSD storage is pretty expensive, but it is worth the expense, IMHO. I have that, and...

Re: YR Free Presets- Latest: "Y Hike" (44.1kHz&96kHz)

Hi YUV! It it perfect that you uploaded all of your presets as a package, so we can use them all very easily. BIG UP! I had a quick look at the files (downloaded 230812 in the morning) and I saw that some progs and vectors were missing from their files in the part 4 ZIP. but they seem to be doubled ...

Re: T*****t A Range EQ

Thank you for your replys, Swang and Michael. If there are only 13 original A range consoles left, that is a real collector piece of gear!!! I believe one of them was the one Butch Vig used to track Nevermind, right? While an original A range eq Nebula library would be huge, if the new re-issue hard...
