Re: Updates/News from AA Official Group

Aquarius v2.2.001 is up!!! You can De-Authorize your license ;) N4 updated: Engine1.1.012/1.4.246 SC3 You know what would be really awesome: to be able to remove/hide all of the trial versions from the "Purchased" page for plugins we've bought. Aquarius seems to get a bit cluttered with licenses we...

Re: All Acustica Plugins Crash Wavelab 9.5/Win10. Help!

https://www.acustica-audio.com/pages/changes This is Great! This is the first time I've seen this changes page. I just installed Taupe as a VST3 plugin. Wavelab detects it as a 32B-float process. The VST2 version is detected as a 64B float process. The difference in precision is audible, and for no...

Re: All Acustica Plugins Crash Wavelab 9.5/Win10. Help!

We are releasing updates including VST3 format which work correctly with Wavelab 9.5.41. Have you started implementing this on any of the updates so far? I haven't seen a VST3 installation path in Aquarius, and nothing related to Acustica seems to be going into C:\Program Files\Common Files. One th...

Re: All Acustica Plugins Crash Wavelab 9.5/Win10. Help!

I've been running Acustica Plugins on Wavelab 9.5 in Windows 7 since August with no difficulty, so I wonder if its a Windows 10 thing. That said, here are a few observations that might be helpful: I did have some trouble rendering multi-channel audio that contained clip effects AND master-section ef...

Re: Acustica Audio releases VIRIDIAN: "Your key to sonic Paradise"

Viridian2 is fantastic with one exception: Can we initiate the A72 EQs at 0dB boost/cut? Starting at -16 is a bit weird, and I'm never sure where the 0dB position is. Just for clarification- the channel strip has an output compensated input trim, the standalone EQ and Pre have a non-compensated inpu...

Ruby2 vs RubyHQ

The Ruby2 re-spin of Ruby is Amazing! I think it beats Ruby HQ for transparency and detail. Is the difference I'm hearing a result of the the move to Core13 or is Ruby2 based on a new sampling of the VT5?

I eagerly await the 88k vector set!

Thank you GC!

Update Path- Trial vs. Commercial

I'm noticing that a number of older plugins have had the trial versions updated in the last month or so, but the commercial version still points to the older installers. As an example Scarlet 3 commercial version points to a 20 October 2017 installer, but the Trial version was updated on 4 December ...

Re: Sand2?

Ok, just noticing that Sand1 has 48k and 88k vectors but Sand2 does not. I hope they'll come with the release of the final version. I'm in Nashville, and 80% of the audio I master comes in a t 48k. FWIW we're still missing 48k and 88k sample packs on these: Azure and Azure HQ Cream Gold2 Ruby and Ru...

I just noticed in my Aquarius that Sand 2 got released yesterday. The description seems to match Sand1. What changed?

Acqua Vectors - incomplete sample rate sets

Giancarlo et al have had a very busy summer and fall with tremendous new offerings in Pink2, Magenta4, Viridian, and now TAUPE!! :o :P Thank you all for this fantastic work. It is with some disappointment that I find that the vector sets for some of their other releases in the past year are still in...

Re: (User's Recommendation) Computer System to work v Neb/Acqua

Hi Guys, New to the world of Acustica Audio and very excited to start building up my plugin list. The one worry I had stepping into these plugins was resource issues as my workflow requires as little interruptions as possible (I know im not the only one). I was demoing some plugins and bought the G...

Re: Pink2 - TBR this week!

Hey All, I've (finally) just updated my Pink2 to version R (03 May)... and the skin changed. I looked in my installation folder and noticed that there are six files named ***SKINOLD.N2S. What do I have to do to get my old beautiful knobs back? Idiotic question: Is there any way that this would affec...

Re: Magenta4 is out! Paint your mix!

Slight bug in the Magenta4STRIP:

The channel strip compressor wet/dry control initiates to 100% wet. Control+click resets the value to 50% wet.
Magenta4 compressor and stereo compressor work correctly. They initiate at 100% wet and reset to 100% wet.

Can anybody else confirm?

Re: Water is out!

Why not add the standalone EQ after the strip? Then you have exactly what you want. I personally always prefer the single plug-ins instead of the strips as I prefer to use my tools in the same way like you. I may be snowing myself, but my impression is that when using the strip, the full sample res...
