Re: Can someone tell me how to sample Compressor?

I can't help of you don't respond :). So far, I can compile compressor programs, but I can't say they sound anything like what I am trying to sample. I would love if anyone could shime in on how to capture really fast FET-style compressors. They get used all the time around here so I could need some...

Re: Can someone tell me how to sample Compressor?

You are right. Don't touch the original files. Leave the original generated file in the Temp. data box. There should be an instructions.txt in the project folder after generation. Read that for some hints. The filenames have to be exactly what is in that file. Also, the Multi view tells you the exac...

Re: Can someone tell me how to sample Compressor?

If you overwrite the original test-tones with your processed ones and hit deconvolve; what happens?

Re: Mammoth EQ update (2012-Nov)

Iæve already done that, though ages ago. So I did it again, but still no go.

The other MAMMOTH programs work, just not the ones addressed in this update.

Full reinstall worked.

Re: Mammoth EQ update (2012-Nov)

How not loading correctly?

Last time I tried "27K" I thought it was broken, so I installed this. But now it won't load at all. Just reverts back to init.

Re: Video Tutorial Online! Switching To TIMED Kernels

Over here the tutorial files null down to below -90dB. Being 16 bit files this puts it right at the minimal dynamic range and you can actually hear the quantification noise if you pull it up. On another note, based on what I see under a scope I would NOT use TIMED for the clean kernel at all. You ge...

Re: "Authorisation Missing" - Nebula stopped working suddenly!

Happened here too. Running the licenser solved the problem.

But I see everything is under control.

Re: Transient loss

Well, try it. You might be surepriced.

I am not sure I find a tenfold increase in CPU to be worth it. Especially when looking under the scope.

Re: Transient loss

Well, that might be, but if you use SPLITH mode SMOOTH will be turne to off. From the manual: "5 – SMOOTH This parameter represents the smoothing algorithm. This mode is useful for minimizing distortion and aliasing for the H1 kernel. There are 21 different algorithms available. When activated an ad...

Re: Transient loss

Ok.

In timed mode, setting all to max (30ms) classic mode (worked in split mode too though)

For preamps.

Have you tried setting the envelope follower to peak and turning of smoothing?

This looks very clean under the scope where I am at. Just tone and harmonics.

Re: Transient loss

That "thorn"-like result is what I allways got under the scope when using the non-reverb version.

Re: Nebula Reverb not equivalent to Realtime Nebula?

From my tests "Nebula.dll" introduces weird harmonics.

I'd just copy "Nebula Reverb.dll" and tweak to your realtime needs.
